摘要:
Amino Acids from the In-situ Megaspores of Pleuomeia epicharis wang Z.Q. of Wang L.X. an Early Triatssic Lycopsid in North China
A preliminary analysis of amino acids has been extrocted by gas chromatography from the in -situ megsapores of a fossil lycosid Pleuromeio epicharis, which is one of the most didtinctive plante in the early Triassic florss in North China. In comporison with that of a mod-ern lycopsid, i.e. herbaceous Lycopodium, the result might be considered to be indigenous, at least in part, in its rather low totel quantity of amino acids conformable to the general trend of decreasing value with age, in a igher ratio between D-forms occurring in the fossil amino acid supporting to the conclusion that the L-amino acids might racemize with time into D-forms, and in certain similarly of amino acids composition that can berecognized from the results of the two samples, and so on. The riches of the acidic aromatic cluster in amino acids of the modern sample might be result of adoption to stronge acidific soil in which the plant lives. In contrary, the occurrence of more or less alkaloidal components in the fossil lycopsid in higher concentra-tion could be produced in reductive faphonomic condition, and probably, is not indigenous.
