| Discovery of Middle Archean Residual Zircon from Eastern Heilongjiang and Its Geological Implications |
| The late Middle Archean geological record ,residual zircon of 2871Ma, has been discoveredfrom the Bamiantong complex(primary Heilongjiang group) exposed on the Mudanjiang area(129°59′58″E, 44°41′40″N), eastern Heilongjiang province, NE China. It implies that the late MiddleArchean tectonothermal event took place in the early stage of the crustal formation and evolution,and that there probably existed the mature continental crust during the late Archean in the area. |
