| The Discovery of Rhyo-tuffite in the Taiyuan Formation and Stratigraphic Correlation of the Daqingshan and Datong Coalfields |
| Based on the results of microscope studies of the rock , the authors for the first time discovereda layer of kaolinized rhyo-tuffite in the Taiyuan Forniation of the Daqingshan and Datong coal-fields. Its existence was confirmed by geochemical data . The ash may be from the north east of theDatong coal field. Based on thecharacter of volcanic event bed and flora , the Taiyuan Formation inthe Daqingshan coalfields and Datong coalfields is correlated. |
