| To Make Study on China Continental Hydrosphere Evolution and Protect Mankind’s Living Environmemt |
| The China continental hydrosphere is an important component part of global hydrosphere. Therapid uplift by stage and continuous uprising of Qinghai-Tibet plateau since the Holocene epoch domi-nates the natural evolution direction and evolution speed of China continental hydrosphere,which is ofparticular significance in studying global continental hydrosphere. In the past a few decades,the rapid development of the national economy construction and the in-crease of mankind’s enginerring activities gave rise to the decrease of flowrate of surface rivers andwater quartity into the sea,decline of groundwater level in large area as well as land subsidence,dete-rioration of both surface water and groundwater and sea water intrusion into groundwater aquifers.Allof these have drastically changed the natural state of China continental hydrosphere,thus affecting themankind’s living environment.Therefore,to make the study on the evolution of China continentalhydrosphere,covering the subjects such as the quartity and quality evolution process of China conti-nental hydrosphere,the interaction between the China continental hydrosphere with other spheres,in-fluence and feedback of mankind’s social and economic activities on China continental hydrosphereevolution,water environmental evolution tendency and prediction of resouce environment effect arenot only the need of conbining geoscience study in China with that of the world,but also the most fun-damental task to protect mankind’s living environment. |
