| A Brief Review on Chinese Paleogeography of Vertebrates during the Middle Palaeozoic |
| The new discoveries of Silurian and Devonian Vertebrates in China and itspaleogeographical significance is reviewed.Tarim basin is similar to South China in the MiddlePalaeozoic fish assemb lages. Fossil plant and vertebrate evidenc es support that the Chineseplatform,which composed of South China,Tarim and probably North China,present inMiddle Palaeozoic,and have close communication with the Eastgondwana probably as early asin Early Devonian time. |
