| Tectonic Evolution and Oil and Gas of Tarin Basin |
| According to the new results achieved in the past ten years and more,using mobilism andthe theory of polycycle by Huang Jiqing,the formation of the basement of the Tarim Basin and its characteristics are summarized.The prototype basins formed since Sinian times areclassified into rift basin,continental marginal basin,cratonic basin,fore-land basin andothers. After the basin analysis method,the Tarim basin is regarded as a huge oil- and gas-bearing basin supeimposed by prototype basins of different ages.The tectonic characteristics ofthese basins including tectonic movements,tectonic migrations,faults and trap types aresummarized.In addition,structural control over oil and gas and oil- forming features areanalysed. |
