摘要:
A comparision of zircon pission-track age with zircon step-wise evaporation lead age
      Comparing the zircon fission-track age with the grain zircon step-wise evaporation 207Pb/206Pb age shows that zircon fission track ages are younger than grain zircon 207Pb/206Pb age.The samples are from Hongkong granite and from Fish Canyon Tuff in the San Juan Montains of Southern Colorado,USA.We think that the grain zircon evaporation 207Pb/206Pb age represents the age of zircon crystallization,while zircon fission-track age is the cooling age of granite of the thermal event (volcanic explosion for FC).Comparative study of different geochronological methods can give more valuable information of development and evolution of an area.
