摘要:
The corrections for the conventional K-Ar and 40Ar/39Ar dating of the glauconite
      Glauconite is a kind of K-rich authigenic phyllo silica minerals.Its conventional K-Ar and 40Ar/39Ar data are usually untruthful.These discrepancies are attribute to ,in this paper,the expandable layers in the glauconite,which have no ability of retaining Ar.A method is describled for making quantitative corrections thrugh measuring the expandable layer's proportion and the lost rate of 39Ar.The corrected dating formulas which have been verified reliable are also deduced.
