AISOTOPE GEOCHRONOLOGY STUDY OF SHANGSHU FORMATION IN NORTHWESTERN ZHEJIANG PROVINCE
      The volcanic-rock series of Shangshu formation,which consisting of basic or acidic lava and clas-tic rocks,was distributed in the range Shaoxing-Fuyang to Quzhou-Jiangshan of northwestern Zhejiang Province.Untiil now,there are different opinions about the geological age of this formation,because the available dating data have not been obtained.In this paper,Sm-Nd isochron ages for the volcanic rocks of Shangshu formation are measured,in which upper and lower lithologic members are 806±59 Ma and 894±75 Ma respectively.These results indicate that Shangshu Formation was formed in the early stage of late Proterozoic,and belongs to Qingbaikou System.Therefore,this formation may be correlated with Densshan Group(817 Ma,929 Ma)of northeastern Jiangxi Province and Jingtan For-mation(839 Ma)or Likou Group (877 Ma)of southern Anhui Province.
