THE GEOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF DONGSHENGMIAO PYRITE-POLYMETALLIC SULFTDE DEPOSIT, INNER MONGOLIA
      The mixed rock occurring in the first formation of the Langshan Group is probably the result of volcanic activity rather than that of faulting or metamorphism. Evidences show that the so-called " meta- albilite" is actually meta-dacite-liparite. Alterations of country rocks are complicated and multiple, and mainly are silicification, talcization,biot-itization and dolomitization. Quartzite at the bottom of the second formation of the Langshan Group is the result of silicification. Syngenetic faults may be the cause that makes it extremely difficult to divide and compare the strata in the ore area. The metamoTphic temperature and metamorphic pressure of the Langshan Group are 300℃ and less than 119× 106Pa respectively. Various " metasomatic textures" of ores were formed in diagentic stage. The linear shape of Cu ore-bodies may imply the existence of syngenetic faults.
