THE STUDY ON SOME THERMODYNAMIC PROPERTIES IN METASOMATISM SYSTEM |
Metasomatism is a general geological phenomenon in the lithosphere. The various metasomatism developed during magmatism, volcanism, sedimentation and metamorphism, and was followed by the formation of the rocks and mineral deposits of distinct types.In recent years, we carried out a series of the experiments under high temperatures and high presseres and the thermodynamic study of the phase equilibrium about the rocks and Fe, Au, Ag deposits formed by hydrother-mal metasomatism, and got a lot of the paramenters of physicochemical conditions about their formation: t = 150-700℃, PH2O= (30-140)MPa, logfo2= -54.892-3.677, PCO2= (0.06-70) MPa, pH = 2.0-13.0,Eh = 1.09--1.15V.The aqueous solutions of K, Na halogenides are the extraction agents and carriers of iron, gold and silver. The paragenetic asociation of the minerals and metasomatic zones in metasomaiic rocks are dependented on the main chemical compositions SiO2, AI2O3, FeO, Fe2O3, CaO, MgO and the chemical potentials (μ) of relatively active ingredients of CO2, (Fe, Mg)O, H2O in original rocks, and the paragenetic association regularly change along with the (μ).These results corresponded with the geological facts in field, and reveal some thermodynamic properties and the rock-forming and mineral-forming mechanism in the metasomatism. |
