中文摘要:同位素定年和示踪技术已渗透到地球科学的各个方面, 成为确定地质事件时代和成岩成矿年龄、示踪成岩成矿物质来源和形成环境条件的重要手段, 推动地球科学发展的重要动力。随着分析技术的不断发展, 微区/微量同位素、非传统同位素、高维度同位素已成为当前国际同位素地球化学研究的前沿和重点领域, 近年来我国在该领域也取得长足发展和一系列重大成果。本“同位素分析新技术与地质应用研究新进展”专辑集中刊发了13篇这方面的文章, 主要涵盖了两个方向的研究成果: (1)同位素地质分析新方法及标准物质研制; (2)同位素地球化学研究新进展, 主要包括同位素示踪技术在矿床和海洋沉积环境中应用研究。本文将对收录本专辑论文的研究工作做一简要介绍, 对深入了解我国同位素地质分析技术及应用研究最新进展具有一定参考价值。

Guest Editor’s Preface to the “New Technologies of Isotope Analysis and Its Applications in Geology”
Abstract:Isotope dating and tracing technology have penetrated all aspects of earth science. By using this technology, researchers can determine the age of geological events, rocks and ore deposits and trace the material sources of rock and ore as well as their forming conditions. Isotope geochemistry has become an important power to promote the development of earth science. With the development of analytical techniques, micro-isotopes, non-traditional isotopes and high-dimensional stable isotopes have become a frontier and essential area of isotope geochemistry. Chinese researchers have also made a series of significant achievements in this field recently. The special issue (No. 5, 2020) of Acta Geoscientica Sinica contains 13 papers concerning the new technology in isotope analysis and its applications in geology, primarily in two directions: (1) New methods of isotope analysis and preparation of reference material for isotope measurement, (2) New progress in isotope geochemistry, which is mainly focused on the application of isotope tracer technique in ore deposits and marine sedimentary environments. This paper will give a brief introduction to these articles. It is valuable to learn more about the new methods of isotope analysis and the latest achievements of application of isotope geology in China.
