中文摘要:在西藏申扎县的格仁错北, 在原划于中、上泥盆统查果罗玛组的灰岩地层中, 获得了中、晚二叠世的珊瑚化石, 经鉴定, 共有5属6种及1个未定种: Iranophyllum? sp., Iranophyllum tunicatum Igo, Neokueichowpora haydeni (Cowper Reed), Praewentzelella irregularis Wu et Zhao, Praewentzelella tibetica (Reed), Waagenophyllum indicum (Waagen et Wentzel), Wentzelella zhongbaensis Wu & Zhao等。根据珊瑚化石的时代及地层岩性特点对研究区以往认为的中、上泥盆统查果罗玛组进行了修订: 剖面1—11层修订为中二叠统下拉组, 11层之上修订为上二叠统—下三叠统木纠错组。该区木纠错组岩性主要以白云岩、白云质灰岩、灰岩、砂屑灰岩、砾屑灰岩为主, 属于蒸发岩台地-开阔台地过渡相沉积。

The Newly Discovered Middle to Late Permian Coral Fauna in the Upper to Middle Devonian Chaguoluoma Formation from the Northern Geren Co Area in Xianza County, Tibet
Abstract:Five genus and seven species corals were discovered for the first time in the limestone, which was previously thought to be of Middle–Upper Devonian Chaguoluoma Formation, on the north bank of Geren Co, in Xainza County of Tibet. These corals are Iranophyllum tunicatum Igo, Iranophyllum? sp., Neokueichowpora haydeni (Cowper Reed), Praewentzelella irregularis Wu et Zhao, Praewentzelella tibetica (Reed), Waagenophyllum indicum (Waagen et Wentzel), Wentzelella zhongbaensis Wu & Zhao. These corals suggest Middle to Late Permian in age instead of Middle to Late Devonian. According to the age of corals and the lithologic characteristics of the strata, the limestone was divided in to two parts: the lower part includes layer 1–11 of the section, which was assigned to the Middle Permian Xiala Formation, and the upper part above the layer 11 was regarded as the Upper Permian–Lower Triassic Mujiucuo Formation. The Mujiucuo Formation in the study area is composed of dolomites, dolomitic limestone, limestone, calcarenite, and calcirudyte, indicating the transitional facies between the evaporation carbonate platform and open carbonate platform facies.
