| SWOT Analysis and Further Development of the Luochuan Loess National Geopark |

| Abstract:Owing to the weak tourist market, the Luochuan Loess National Geopark fails to show its potential high quality loess geological heritage. With SWOT analysis, the authors made a systematic diagnosis and conceived a series of developing strategies for the Luochuan Loess National Geopark, such as developing a modern geological museum and training professionals, intensifying science popularization, integrating it into world geoparks, separating management from property right, and financing. The purpose is to provide a solid basis for the further development of the geopark and the sustainable development of the local society. |
