Remnants of some of these events are now preserved as exposures of Juras-sic-Cretaceous ophiolites and ophiolitic mélanges, thick sequences of Jurassic flysch deposits and Middle Cretaceous sedimentary and volcanic formations along the Bangong-Nujiang Suture Zone (BNS). |
