Hydrogen isotope fractionation between tourmaline and water |

Abstract:Hydrogen isotope aquiliorium and kinetic fractionation between tourmaline and water has been studied experimentally at the temperature of 350-550℃. At the temperature of 800-650℃,the hydrogen isotope equilibrium frationation factor between tourmaline and water can be described by a lineral equation: 103lndtourmaline-water=-28.24(106/T2)+2.60 At the temperature of 800-650℃ ,the relationship between rate constant of hydrogen isotope exchange and temperature in the tourmaline-water system is: log k2=-0.19-6.70(103/T) Activation energies(Qa) for hydrogen isotope exchange in tourmaline is 128.3 kJ/mol |
