封面故事:某化工厂地下水和土壤的污染晕形态。应用高密度电法和地质雷达等新技术, 在面积约1 km2的污染场地, 准确探测出其地下17—45 m的地下水和土壤的重质非水相液体(DNAPL)污染晕形态, 该方法的有效性已得到钻探验证。我国于1999年开始地下水有机污染调查试点, 2005年全国范围内启动。现已完成东部主要平原区调查, 正在实施东南沿海和中西部地区调查。预计到2015年完成调查面积440万km2, 基本掌握全国主要地区地下水污染状况, 为地下水污染防治提供依据。地下水污染的阶段性调查成果及研究进展详见本期专辑。(图片提供:姜月华)
Cover Story:The shape of pollution halo in groundwater and soil around a chemical plant. At the pollution site of about 1 km2, the shape of DNAPL pollution halo in groundwater 17~45 m in depth and soil was accurately detected by using some new techniques such as high-density electrical method and geological radar. Drilling has demonstrated the ef-fectiveness of these techniques. China’s pilot survey of organic pollution began in 1999, and the nation wide survey was started in 2005. Up till now, the survey has been completed in the main plain areas of eastern China and is being conducted in south-eastern coastal areas as well as central and western areas of China. It is estimated that the survey will have covered an area of 4400000 km2 by 2015, when the fundamental situation of groundwater pollution in the majority of areas of China will be clearly known and the reliable basic data can be provided for the prevention and control of groundwater pollution.
