| metallogenic subzone (Ⅲ-90-Ⅳ-52) and the Wuzhishan Magmatic Arc iron, aluminum (cobalt), uranium, crystal, gemstone, lignite, graphite, molybdenum and polymetallic metallogenic subzone (Ⅲ-90-Ⅳ-54) are the main metallogenic belts in Hainan. The deposit types are dominated by placer type, metamorphism-controlled type and magmatic hydrothermal type.Temporally: The metallogenic epochs of deposits in Hainan range from Archean to Holocene of Quaternary, among which Qingbaikouan Period, Triassic, Cretaceous and Quaternary are the main metallogenic periods.The team defined the metallogenic series of deposits in Hainan Island, divided them into 6 metallogenic series, 19 metallogenic sub-series and 41 deposit styles, and summarized the metallogenic lineage. Innovatively, the team proposed the "omnidirectional metallogenesis and vacant-position prospecting" prediction model, divided 21 prospecting prospective areas, optimized 5 prospecting target areas, and delineated 11 Class-Ⅲ and 4 Class-Ⅳ exploration areas. In terms of practical application, the chorography directly supports Hainan's new round of strategic action for prospecting breakthroughs and facilitates the construction of the "Hainan Zirconium-Hafnium Mineral Resource Base" and the "Hainan Changjiang-Ledong Iron-Gold Mineral Resource Base"; meanwhile, it provides scientific basis for energy and resource guarantee, ecological protection and industrial layout in the construction of the free trade port, promoting the transformation of Hainan's mineral resource management towards digitalization and greenization. The chorography not only improves the scientific level of regional metallogenic regularity research, but also provides a "Hainan model" for the compilation and research of national mineral chorography, highlighting the fundamental role of geological work in serving the national strategy for energy and resource security. |
