Geochemical Characteristics and Deep Metallogenic Prospects Evaluation of the Eastern Periphery of the Huangtuliang Gold Deposit
      The Huangtuliang gold deposit is an important large-scale gold deposit in the northwestern Hebei Province,China. Currently, its exploration depth is mainly concentrated in areas shallower than 500 meters below the surface and above +800 meters, with relatively low levels of deep prospecting research. To further accurately predict the deep prospecting potential, this paper conducts a structural superimposed halo axial zoning study on lines 80 and 88 of the Huangtuliang gold deposit. The research results indicate that the axial zoning sequences of the structural superimposed halos along both Lines 80 and 88 are characterized by the superimposed coexistence of leading halo and trailing halo elements. Furthermore, the ratios of leading halo to trailing halo elements show a gradual increasing trend in the deeper zone, which suggests that the leading halo elements are re-enriched in the deeper parts. This phenomenon of "abnormal zoning" indicates that there remains significant ore-prospecting potential along the ore body extension direction in the deeper section of these two survey lines. Based on this, this paper established a structural superimposed halo axial zonation model diagram. Combining the vertical variation characteristics of geochemical parameters, the spatial distribution of the ore body, element distribution characteristics, and AMT inversion results, a prospecting target area was delineated between F2 and F4 faults at an elevation of 0-800 meters along line 88. A gold orebody was discovered in the deep part along Line 88 during the drilling verification project, which has confirmed that the structural superimposed halo axial zoning method has a remarkable ore-prospecting effect in this area.
