| Gemalong silver deposit ,located in the eastern of the East Kunlun orogenic belt,is a newly discovered medium-sized deposit in recent years. In order to further expand the deposit scale and deep prospecting space, Primary halo geochemistry was used to evaluate the Ⅲ ore belt of the exploration 16 line, and analyzed Au,Ag,Cu,Pb,Zn,As,Sb,Hg,F,Mn,W,Sn,Mo,Bi,Co and other 15 kinds of elements. The combination characteristics of elements were studied by correlation analysis, factor analysis and cluster analysis and other mathematical statistics methods, all of which clearly demonstrated the characteristics of multi-stage hydrothermal superimposed mineralization. The characteristics of primary halo were researched by Grignelon’s primary zonation index method. The results show that the near-ore halo elements are Ag,Au,Cu,Pb and Zn,the front halo elements are Hg、As、Sb(F),and the tail halo elements are Co、Mn、Bi、Sn(Mo)(W). The axial zoning sequence of the primary halo from the top to the bottom is F→Hg→W→Co→Cu→Pb→Au→Bi→Ag→As→Mn→Sb→Zn→Sn→Mo,The main ore-forming elements Ag、Au、Pb and Zn anomalies are basically nested with the ore body, and the near-ore halo, front halo and tail halo elements coexist superficially, and the ore-forming element anomalies extend to greater depths without pinching out. The variation curves of the primary halo geochemical parameters show a "rising-falling-rising" trend, especially showing a "rising" trend in all parameters from the 3800m to the 3700m middle section, indicating that the ore body has a significant extension downward from the 3700m middle section. It is predicted that there may be blind ore bodies or the ore body may extend deeper, suggesting substantial potential for increasing reserves in the deeper part of the deposit. |
