| 中文摘要:《中国地层表及说明书》由全国地层委员会组织中国地层学家编制。《中国地层表及说明书》建立了中国年代地层系统与国际年代地层系统之间的精确对比关系; 充分反映了各地质时期岩石地层的展布状况, 各地质历史阶段的地质年龄、生物地层序列(列数列各阶期的主导化石门类的组合序列)、磁性地层、地质事件及海平面升降等的变化特征; 根据最新研究进展, 对中、新元古代、寒武纪、侏罗纪—白垩纪等的地层划分方案做了一些重要调整; 为使阶名与组名尽量不重名, 对中生代和部分古生代阶名进行了重新命名。该表是具有很强实用性的全国统一多重地层表, 对了解中国地层发育整体情况, 进行国内、外和大区域的地层对比研究, 开展地学研究、地质教学、地质调查工作有重要科学意义和实用价值。《中国地层表》在第三十四届国际地质大会和第四届全国地层会议上得到国内外地质学家的高度重视和一致好评, 部分成果已经在地质调查和中国区域地质志编制中得到广泛应用, 产生了良好的社会效应。 |

| Characteristics and Main Progress of The Stratigraphic Chart of China and Directions |

| Abstract:Under the leadership of National Commission on Stratigraphy of China, The Stratigraphic Chart of China and Directions were compiled by Chinese stratigraphers. The exact correlation between international chronostratigraphy and Chinese chronostratigraphy is established in The stratigraphic Chart of China. The Stratigraphic Chart of China fully reflects the distributive status of lithostratigraphy, the characteristics of geological ages, the biostratigraphic sequence, the magnetostratigraphy, the geological events and the eustatic sea level change during every geological period. According to recent research, some schemes of stratigraphic division of Mesoproterozoic-Neoproterozoic, Cambrian, and Jurassic–Cretaceous were revised. In order to avoid the repetition of names between stage and formation, the compilers adjusted some stage names of Mesozoic and Paleozoic. The Stratigraphic Chart of China is possessed of important scientific significance and practical value for us to understand the development of Chinese stratigraphy, correlate stratigraphy between China and foreign countries, and unfold scientific research, geological education and geological survey. Therefore, The Stratigraphic Chart of China was well received and highly praised by the 34th International Geological Congress and 4th National Stratigraphic Congress. A part of achievements has been widely applied to geological survey and compilation of regional geological records, with good social benefit achieved. |
