封面故事:西藏拉萨地体南部混合岩化麻粒岩。代表早新生代冈底斯岩浆弧的下地壳组成,形成在新特提斯洋壳向拉萨地体之下俯冲的活动大陆边缘构造环境。通过对拉萨地体的变质作用及其时、空演化的系统研究,揭示其北部经历了新元古代的高压变质作用,中部经历了三叠纪的中压变质作用,南部经历了中、新生代的中压/高温变质作用,厘定出冈底斯岩浆弧中下地壳的物质组成与生长过程。这项由中国地质科学院地质研究所张泽明、董昕团队完成的研究成果,当选2012年度中国地质科学院十大科技进展,排名第四。详见本期第257-262页。(图片提供:张泽明)
Cover Story:The migmatic granulite from the south Lhasa terrane, southern Tibet. It represents the lower crust of the Gangdise magmatic arc, formed at the ac-tive continental edge resulting from the subduction of the Neo-Tethyan Ocean beneath the Lhasa terrane during the Early Cenozoic. The study of the temporal and spatial distribution and evolution of the metamorphism of the Lhasa terrane has revealed that the northern segment of the terrane underwent the Neoproterozoic high- pressure metamor-phism, the central part underwent the Triassic me-dium-pressure metamorphism, and the southern part experienced the Mesozoic-Cenozoic me-dium-pressure and high-temperature metamorphism. On such a basis, the components and growth process of the medium-lower crust of the Gangdise arc have been determined. The research achievement led by Professor ZHANG Ze-ming and DONG Xin, Institute of Geology, CAGS, ranks the fourth among “Top Ten Scientific and Technological Progresses of CAGS in 2012”.
